So often when I offer a client in the shop a little sample of our delicious brined sauerkraut, I hear “I can’t stand kraut!” or just simply wrinkle up their nose and say “no thanks”… Well here’s good news!

You can still get those healthy ferments in and repopulate your microbiome with a … what?…
Healthy Martini! We had a client come in who lost 17 pounds just by adding a brined martini to his routine every evening. The key is brine – salt and water – no vinegar, as it kills the probiotics and enzymes.

Recipe for Lower Furnace Martini:

* 1 ounce gin or vodka

* I teaspoon fermented hot sauce

* 1 ounce Beet Kvass

* 1 ounce kraut or pickle brine

* Rim glass in black ants (stamina, energy, calm – the Herb of Kings!

* Shake with ice, strain and pour into your favourite martini glass

* Garnish with Black Bojita olives, or a sprig of fresh dandelion root

Enjoy this healthy drink for your intestines and liver – Cheers!
